We showed a sneak peek of the finished “Girl Panic” video by Duran Duran yesterday and today Style has a behind-the-scenes look, which includes an explanation of how the band came up with the idea of having supermodels take on their roles as musicians for the video.

We posted the Bazaar cover featuring five supermodels to be featuring in Duran Duran’s ”Girl Panic” video, and we’ve now been provided with the link to a couple of the teasers (there are a total of ten). The one you’re seeing here is teaser No. 5 featuring a glimpse of Cindy Crawford with electric guitar in hand. Tomorrow you can view the making of the video exclusively on  Style.

Harpers Bazaar created a renunion of the ’90s supermodels for its December cover, reflecting a growing trend among magazines to show models more love. The cover is part of a push for the upcoming launch of a Duran Duran video for the single “Girl Panic.” The song has been out since December 2010, but we’re hearing the video featuring all of the above models and directed by Akerlund will be released within the next two weeks or so.
