All of the internets are buzzing that Mr. Sean Carter has launched a site titled Lifeandtimes. It includes style features and while clearly more for a male audience, among the neckties and men’s shoes was an interview with street photographer Garance Dore (that’s her above in a photo accompanying the interview, shot by her fella, Scott Schuman). Here are a few of her responses:

L+T: What’s the most fashionable place you’ve ever been?
GD: Anna Della Russo’s closet.

L+T: Who are three artists in your iPod that you’ll never take out?
GD: Leonard Cohen, Serge Gainsbourg, Destiny’s Child

L+T: What fashion trends should we be looking forward to in 2011?
GD: I love hats and I would like to see more women and men adopting them into their wardrobe.

Note the nod to Beyonce! Definitely it will be interesting to see if the famously private Jay-Z will use his insider access to create compelling content. So far he’s playing his hand chest close and like a lot of things Carter-related, you feel a wall. Though given this is just day one, it’s will take a few weeks to tell.

Beautfully shot by Garance Doré, these Prada  tee-strap shoes are serious contenders for that drool-worthy Spring 2011 “shoe of the moment.” Luv!

There are many reasons why people love Garance Doré, but for me it’s simple. She gets fashion in more than one aspect , with a sense of poetry that is irresistible.  Garance Doré ( we luv!) is getting to put her fabulous illustrations on apparel. In collaboration with the Gap, Garance’s   capsule collection of tees,  will be available in a pop up shop in London,  during her exhibit for London Fashion Week  celebrating  the 40 years of the  label. Only 69 tees are made ! More images on the next page.

When it comes to bikes , i’ll admit that going fast is really the least of my concerns. I’m totally smitten with  the look of the old school cruisers with basket in the front, and the  look to match. Definitely more Garance Doré for Celine than Lance Armstrong. The Paul Frank bikes , appear slightly junior but  really fun!  via Nylon.

I’ve always  had a special admiration for Garance Doré, as she has been able to capture effortless street style while tinting it with a certain sense of poetry. Her blog is  a lot more than a snapshot of the well dressed. Garance talks to Refinery29 about her ideas of what constitutes great style, her admiration of the sartorialist and much more. I have to preface this by saying that:  I really,  really love Garance Doré’s work !!!  She looks at fashion from a very interesting and  relatable  place. Showcasing well dressed women of very different style tendencies. One of her recent features is the focus on a neon- like lemon color , exquisitely illustrated by (l-r) Joanna, Susie of stylebubble.com, and Lauren. Proving that with color and anything else  it’s all about how you rock it.

One of my favorite fashion sites is Garance Doré,this fashion photographer/illustrator shares our love of fashion and apparently the color electric blue as seen above in France .

I don’t know if fashion inspires the color or if the color inspires the look but electric blue has just gotten me lately…

I also found shantelle in downtown brooklyn rocking the bright hue. It was one of those cloudy dark days,so of course she stood out to us, showing that everyone does fashion their way.And in the end that is really the point.To go outside the box and take risks.Check her out on the next page!
