There are times when scientists create objects that are harmful or just create other problems. On the bright side, there are times when you want to take those creative minds and give them a big ole hug  to say thank you. Azusa Murakami and Alexander Groves (bless ther hearts) created  the “Hair” sunglasses made of human hair and bio resin and are 100 percent biodegradable. Spotted them at Ecouterre. Sold exclusively online, Illesteva launches the “Dear Mama” eyewear dedicated to mothers all over the world.  They’re available as sunglasses and optical frames and made of horn-colored acetate and part of the proceeds will be donated to the charity “Help a Mother Out,” a mom-run grass-roots charity that collects diapers and raises money for the purchase of diapers to benefit families in need. Maison Martin Margiela has issued a video illustrating its Spring/Summer 2011 eyewear offerings. There are two styles, “Anatomic,” an enlarged rounded shape that envelopes the face and “Wrong Size,” which features lenses that don’t quite fit the frame. In a clever presentation befitting this artful brand, the glasses are shown on a graphic that mimics an eye chart. Via Anyonegirl.

A whole bunch of Spring fashion ads have been uploaded to various sites recently, including this one for Tom Ford’s eyewear campaign, which features model Abbey Lee Kershaw. Ford goes for the bigger-than-life librarian look for this particular pair. They’re super cute, and well set off by the giant crystal necklace, plus a killer red mani that perfectly coordinates with Kershaw’s lipstick. More on the next page, including two men’s styles.

The Ray Ban classic has celebrated a strong comeback this past year. Other brands were inspired by the style and create new, more exciting styles based on the alltime favorite Wayfairer model. Karen Walker presents the Deep Freeze as part of her collection. They come in a bright blue with dark gun. We also like the arrow logo on the sunglasses. These are now available at Gargyle.

Married To The MOB have released their Holiday 2007 collection today. The photoshoot was done this time with Mega, after the Fall collection was presented by French artist Fafi. The new collection consists once again of mainly t-shirts and also one fresh new hoodie.

We like what we are seeing, but would like to see the line grow to more pieces and styles, beyond t-shirts and hoodies. Hopefully that will happen by next year. For now check out the new collection after the jump.
