If you’re hankering for some of the super femmy full skirts and dresses that were a big theme on Spring 2012 runways, we’ver rumaged through Etsy’s closet (which sometimes made us weep and not in a good way–will hippie looks NEVER die?) and found the best ones, all handmade, customizable and considerably cheaper than LV’s version.

If it’s classic you prefer, the Etsy seller called Bestnamenecklace who makes the one above, also sells other silver and gold-plated versions in a variety of shapes and sizes.

Tiina Anttila, the “deep in the forrest” Finish designer behind the Etsy store Attila Design is a bit of Renaissance woman. She handmade this gorgeous leather bag, designed to look like tree bark, featuring “recycled elm handles from the Central Park by the sea side in Helsinki,” and on the next page, you’ll find not just exquisite dresses and accessories, but also an “Under The Apple Tree” bed canopy, a “Full Moon” chair and a “Scandinavian Deer” wall sculpture. And btw, she also does some set design and backdrop painting, too!

For my whole adult life I’ve been fascinated and drawn to turbans. Sadly, I’ve never figured out a circumstance where I could rock one without creating a look that screams out eccentric aunt a la "Grey Gardens."
