Keeping her edge and sense on androgyny, the male and female collection includes a collaboration with street artist Marco Pho Grassi and fun slogan tees like the one above. Using fashion as an” instrument to express one’s  feelings” , Esther Perbandt’s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection  aptly titled ‘Instrumental’ expresses the duality of harmony and chaos, through her signature use of black contrasted by bleaching , strong reds and ivory. ‘Instrumental’ also  features  Perbandt’s continual expansion into  accessories with handbags, and bracelets. The cork print (above) stands out as our favorite! Titled “Rosskur”( Drastic Treatment) Esther Perbandt’s Autumn/Winter 2009 assembles the  elements of the perfect modern wardobe with chunky wrapped sweaters , tailored pants and jackets, and dresses with great details. I have been kind of obsessed with Esther Perbandt, who’s able to make the simplest piece of apparel stand out by deconstructing it in a way that ,  is creative, and modern while  still allowing the woman wearing it to shine. The dress upside down , a deconstructed shirtdress  proves just how talented this woman is. We introduced you to Esther Perbandt last year,as one of the serious contenders of modern design fo women.Her s/s 09 Collection titled "Wildly Structured" sees Perbandt adding handbags to her line of modern urban apparel,with an emphasis on  volume,texture and of course structure. I’m totally smitten!

I am a firm beliver that sexy does not always have to mean bare,something as simple as an extra button un-done on a shirt can be spicier than a bare bone deep v backless coochiecutter,bootie dress…u know what i mean right?

Esther Perbandt  based in Berlin gets that. Her look/aesthetic, great mix of tailoring , subtle graphic  and construction details make her a standout label…modern,urban and sexy…check out more of my faves after the jump
