This is the kind of jewellery I  find irresistible not for the edgy, conceptual nature of Delettrez’s cool design, but honestly because (raise your had and if you can relate)  it reminds me of digging through my mom’s nail polish collection and inflicting every doll I owned with colored nails. Here we present 22-year-old accessory designer Delfina Delettrez’s latest collection, called “My World,” as photographed by Dan Tobin Smith (who shot Jay-Z’s most recent album cover).  According to Nowness, accessory design is in Delettrez’s blood. Her father is jeweler Bertrand Delettrez and her mom is Fendi’s accessories director Silvia Venturini Fendi.  Her latest collection was inspired by the Mayan calendar, which highlights 2012 as a year of rebirth for the world.

Delfina Delettrez  is definitely carving her name as a designer of  edgy jewellery and ideas that never go unnoticed. Most recently she created a “Finger Ring” where the nail color cold be changed as you please. Launching in December the finger ring comes with a nail polish, available in 5 colors.Via vf.
