When individual style can be supported by customized pieces, it’s pretty much golden. The crew at Vans Girls puts together a fun video to teach us how to revamp existing Vans into very rad creepers. Enjoy!

Vans is hooking up again with streetwear label Hellz on a second collaboration that includes 90s-inspired creepers (above), buckle boots, and bags. The interesting twist is that the launch party will take place at Vans flagship store in Manila (that’s in the Phillipines if you’re geographically challenged like me) later this month. Nice work, ladies!

Alife wouldn’t let me photograph their shoes at Compass because they were all spring ‘09 (and expressed exasperation with images of spring ‘09 shoes being leaked on a certain streetwear blog when they shouldn’t have been!), but one of their p.r. reps, Cassandra, was wearing a pair of creeper/sneaker hyprids that was too adorable for words.
