Coach yesterday hosted a charity event for which the B- and even a few A-lister celebs turned out big time. What was interesting to note is that almost everyone  carried a clutch(that’s Zoe Saldana’s above). Some of them are clearly Coach, though I’m not sure if all of them are. I’m guessing yes, since Wireimage dedicated an entire page to closeups on the bags. Which, go ‘head, Coach–you certainly wouldn’t be the first company to make a product push a part of your fundraiser.

Berlin retailer FIRMA is celebrating entertainer Josephine Baker (who lived in Berlin for a year) by creating a very fabulous leather, fringe clutch called “The Fabulous Baker Bag” in her honor. It will be available at FIRMA and select stores worldwide.

The pre-Oscar parties are in full swing and Elton John pulled an amazingly a-plus list crowd for a fundraising event held at the newly-opened Soho House in Hollywood. Our forever fave Madonna was there, where she doubled down on Louboutin with a pair of  ‘Tahiti’ black and white pumps from his Spring 2010 collection, and a ‘Lolita’ studded clutch.

HP partnered with world-renowned designer Vivienne Tam to create the must-have digital clutch for fashionistas. The new Vivienne Tam Edition notebook is the ultimate convergence of fashion and technology.

The outcome is a fashionable version of a small HP laptop, that one might actually mistake for a clutch bag. The laptop has been seen as an accessory in the recent Vivienne Tam fashion show.

I sort of still am. I have this blue nylon one, but it’s starting to fall apart. The thing is, I don’t want to do straw. I’m tough on my things and I know it wouldn’t stand up. I stumbled upon these bamboo bags being sold at EcoConsciousMarket and figured they might be a nice option. They’re not only cool and futuristic-y looking, but also environmentally friendly(whatever that means!)

Be still my beating heart! Land your eyes on this amazing Chanel clutch, which was carried by one of the recent Resort Line 2009 show’s attendees.

^^The color, the atomic flower graphic, the discrete Chanel logo, not to mention the folksy yet modern take on quilting…I have to ask, what about this clutch isn’t perfect? (And not for nothing, but the gold Chanel bracelet isn’t a joke either!!)

Rhi-Rhi showed up with both style guns blazing at the recent Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice awards this past weekend. Give her stylist props. She had the challenge of keeping Rhianna looking appropriately casual while at the same time not letting her fall back into a too-relaxed and teeny-bopper look. (Meahwhile, how bad did I feel for Rhianna’s man, Chris Brown, who somehow got roped into wearing a hideous, bright orange Nickelodeon hoodie and looked miserable doing so. By the end of the night Rhi-Rhi was probably so not feeling him. Like, ummm, I’m feeling sort of tired tonight, baby…do you mind if I just go home? By myself?)

^^These pants are gonna be controversial ’cause they’re highwaisted AND baggy, but that’s okay. Better she skate along the edge that wear the same old stupid straight legs. Those boring-ass style choices are best left to Auntie Beyonce.

^^I have shoes that I describe as my “three-hour heels,” as in after wearing them for three hours, my feet are DONE. These I’d guess are more like 45-minute heels.
