When it comes to shoes, in my world  its either sky high or  to the ground. Mid-Heels for the most  part do not hold my attention however, for Spring/Summer 2010 the  Chie Mihara collection  is filled with  fun shoes that have a nice retro look,  definitely worthy of mention . I really really like these Japanese inspired   Chie Mihara Platform boots. I can already see  the look, the killer pedicure, but also the extreme caution  needed  to actually walk in those.   Available believe it or not at  Saks.

When Lois mentionned Chie Mihara during one of our Market/fashion talks I really got curious , having heard  alot about the brand  through  very different channels..I was not totally sold until I took a look at their online shop..

 Chie Mihara’s  main features are design and comfort, between the two I’ll  admit that comfort is never really an issue..If they’re hot that’s it…The idea of a comfortable( as in I can walk more than 5 blocks) sexy shoe seems to never happen  for me…  With heels it’s either sky high or the ground…

I never found the line of a mid heel flattering but somehow Chie Mihara has been able to pull it off..I picked a few pairs that I tought rocked,after the jump

I would be lying to you if I said that I love Department stores..although lately….Saks has been really taking risks at least in their womens footwear department..is it the Hot footwear floor they opened a few years back ?or a new Buyer?

I don’t know but when I saw these YSL platforms available for pre-order  I was pleasantly surprised..
