The sexy super is shot by Steven Klein, who also shot Lady Gaga for her Fame fragrance ad campaign. The global advertising campaign will roll-out with a Youtube video scheduled for the first week of September. At a party hosted by Barney’s to celebrate Christian Louboutin’s 20th anniversary, the guest of honor is inspired to carry away Blake Lively, who is sporting a red leather coat (by who, dear readers?) paired with multi-colored snakeskin Louboutin pumps. And…..insert comments about the comfort levels of Louboutin heels here.

While I was in Florida last week, a bunch of Lara-Stone-related events happened and I figured rather than just ignore, I’d gather them all in one post. The image on this page is from some random fashion show, but it was the best of the bunch so it gets center stage. After the flip, there’s a shot of her in an orange tee on her way to watch Netherlands play in the World Cup finals, wearing a gold dress to a Calvin Klein event in Berlin, and then in London in a white and black dress on a date with her new husband. Recently-wed Lara Stone just inked a mega contract with Calvin Klein, which will make her the face of Calvin Klein Collection, CK Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Jeans. According to WWD, it’s the first time in the history of the brand they’ve used one model for all three brands. Prior to Stone, Calvin Klein spokesmodels include Christy Turlington, Kate Moss and Natalia Vodianova. The article discusses the potential this deal has to “catapult” Stone into a new stratoshere of fame, but one has to figure it was only a matter of time before Stone reached the highest of model heights. Smart move on Calvin Klein’s part to get to her in such a big way first.

Living doll KimK recently posed for a Radar Mag photo shoot. The theme was the long ago and legendary Brooke Shield CK jeans ad campaign. In her interview with the mag, she gave the best comeback punch ever when she responded to Paris’s description of her butt as gross by panning, "If Paris Hilton thinks my butt looks gross I really don’t care. At least I have a butt." Exactly, Kim! Where did crazy Paris get off thinking that all the world loves a backless wonder?? Cheez!

Grigio Perla, La perla’s line of Undies and swimwear  for men,Is again to me the willingness of labels to extend their brand in a direction that is not always  a garanty for success..I dunno how long ago it launched but…I wonder how their sales are doing …As I said yesterday there is always this image of a brand that sticks in our minds… I love La Perla But the label will forever in my my mind be associated with women….
