Lady Gaga has released the art for her next single, titled “Hair.” It will be available on itunes on May 16th. The album, Born This Way, hits on May 23rd.

An image recently surfaced of Lady Gaga getting her “Born This Way” tattoo at Becca Roach’s studio in New York. She got the tattoo last fall so it’s not new art. You can’t see it in this pic but the original tattoo is a unicorn, who–like all magical creatures of his ilk–was born with a big horn coming out of the middle of his handsome forehead. (And honestly, I didn’t realize this was an old tat until I was halfway through the post and had I know that from the start I wouldn’t have posted such moldy news, but then again, the pic of her getting it is new and a lot of you love Gaga so…..a little prezzy for the fans.)

We posted the single art and the lyrics from Lady’s Gaga’s next single, “Born This Way,” and last night Gaga released the audio. It brings back memories of Wigstock from its Thompkins Square Park days, and on that note, I expect we will see this played on Ru Paul’s reality show at some point, too. It is very much your classic empowerment pop anthem, whether or not it takes off and is embraced widely is always tough to predict, though Gaga has as powerful a propaganda machine behind her as anyone in the business these days.

Lady Gaga has Tweeted the single art for her much anticipated single, “Born This Way.” It has a sort of hybrid drag queen/Avatar look to it…..note the implants photoshopped onto her forehead and cheeks. She also Tweeted the lyrics and production credits, which you can see on the next page. As you might guess based on the title, it’s very much a pop anthem about accepting your sexuality, color, etc.
