Justin Timberlake announced the release of a new – Timberland-produced- album probably next week. What is even more exciting (without saying that I am not excited to hear what Mr Timberlake will deliver after six years hiatus from music)are rumors that the sexy ex N’Sync member teamed up with Beyoncé and Jay-Z on a track.

The three were spotted together in the studio in December last year and Complex published a Tweet (already  deleted) from producer Carl Paul reading:

“MADE A MOVIE WIT THE LEGEND TIMBALAND GOT SUM HEAT COMIN SOON BEYONCÈ, JAY-Z, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE IM WORKIN #HowBoutU”

There are many things one can say about Beyonce Knowles. From her undeniable vocals, dance prouesse and southern belle charm, she’s been able to sustain an untouchable star status where many came close on various levels but have not yet surpassed her. What we have always loved about fashion is it’s potential to bring joy. We as HighSnobette editors feel so lucky to not only have witnessed many of these special moments but to also have come to know and watch grow many of the artists and designers behind some of our favorite projects. Below in no particular order we share what we regard as some of the best, joy-bringing efforts of 2012:

Designer Melody Ehsani’s star has been on the rise for quite some time now, but her “Queen of the Jungle” necklace (above) in many ways stamped her official arrival. We lost count of the stylish celebrities spotted in this vivacious fun piece.

Leah McSweeney has always been a force of personality. She literally is the MTTM brand, as backed by an intensely loyal supporting staff + fan base. Like many young brands the label went through its stumbles when investors pulled out, but the tenacious McSweeney was able to hold on to the name and this year the label found its own inimitable stride again, as marked by the brand’s “Supreme Bitch” snapback cap, which received the blessing of none other mega-style star Rihanna.

Last week we announced the publication of an autobiographical documentation about Beyoncé promising to get an insight into her professional and social life. Directed by herself, the documentary will premiere on February 16 on HBO. Today, we can show you the teaser for the movie. Enjoy!

Beyoncé is making an autobiographical movie, directed by and starring the singer and actress. The documentary which will premiere February 16th on HBO will take us more into her personal life and also give us a deep insight into her musical career featuring live performances and confessional self-recorded video footage of her and her family.  Michael Lombardo, HBO president of programming, said:

“Along with electrifying footage of Beyoncé onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman.”

Just ’cause Solange’s status as a fashionable, Ft. Greene, Brooklyn it girl is in full bloom and paying returns, you didn’t think she was going to put down her music aspirations, now did you? Nope, in fact she is right now in Cape Town, South Africa, filming the video to an upcoming single, titled, “Losing You.” An album will follow, the third for Solange, who has song writing credits including “Get Me Bodied” and Upgrade U,” written for her sister, Beyonce. While working on the video, Solange is also shooting for an editorial in an upcoming issue of Elle magazine. One month after the birth of Blue Ivy, Beyonce makes her first public appearance, in support of her husband Jay Z’s Carnegie Hall benefit show, last night in New York. She chose an Alice Temperley dress, an Alexander McQueen clutch and Loubies. Not that we endorse this or think it’s anything short of nutsville, but since it’s inevitable….let the trash talk over whether or not she looks like she was ever pregnant begin!
