Bathroom With Glass Floor Over Elevator Shaft

This bathroom wonder is getting lots of circulation. It was designed in 2006 by Guadalajara-based architects Hernandez Silva Arquitectos, who decided to capitalize on a no-longer-in-use elevator shaft by building a penthouse bathroom on top of it, using a glass floor to expose the 15 floor drop.

Of course one immediately wonders, could I handle that first thing every morning? Even once? Scrub the floors weekly? Can’t help but wonder what the owners have to say about confronting that view six years later.
