For the first time, jewelry brand Kat&Bee presents a collection accompanied by a campaign. For Autumn/Winter 2013 Kat&Bee look to the ghettos of Harlem, the serenity of Central Park and the industrial streets of DUMBO whilst remaining true to their London roots. All this is perfectly worked into a beautiful crafted collection comprising signature rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces all hand-crafted and featuring unique details with a principal emphasis on texture and shape; unique fusion details capture the wearers’ individuality.

Mundi Vondi is an Icelandic artist and works with diverse media and outlets to produce his ideas. Mundi and 66°NORTH are proud to announce a new collaboration between the two brands. “ MUNDI 66°NORTH” is a fusion between the highly technical production quality from 66°NORTH and the surreal graphic world of Mundi. The collection is called “Snow Blind” and is highly conceptual as well as practical. While I can still remember being in awe of Emmanuel Ungaro’s ladylike designs of the 80’s the label has seen quite a few designers and even Lindsay Lohan take its creative direction. This collection by Fausto Puglisi had many stunning ladylike pieces like the coat above,  an interesting mix of animal prints and polka dots and  some gold butterfly adornments that I’m now obsessed with. It’s Phoebe Philo’s turn at Céline to give her version of the contemporary woman. In shades of white, powder pink, gray, navy, new silhouettes appear in roundness. Everything was so effortless and so wearable. The collection gives pride to enveloping coats, lightly finishing in a trapeze with slits on the side and rounded sleeves. Not to forget the incredible shoes and accessories that deserve at least as much attention as the clothing. THE SHOES!

Simon Porte Jacquemus, with his label Jacquemus defenitely proofed his creativity by bringing his fashion show for the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection to one of the fanciest fashion show locations at Paris Fashion Week I’ve seen so far. Of course H&M did an impressive set-up for their show at Musée Rodin, but to show a collection in a public piscine was new to me. The bigger was the WOW-effect when seeing the images of people wearing blue plastic shoes and standing bravely in line at the lip of the pool. But now, let’s talk about the collection. I am a big fan of Jaquemus, so the young, fresh and somehow rebellious but still French chic that the collection is representing, is just what I loved, love and will always love at Jacquemus’ designs. HOON presents its Autumn/Winter 2013 lookbook showcasing a lot of leather and denim which makes the collection really set the tone for the release. The careful attention to the stitching throughout the collection, give off a strong a silhouette.
