When me and Samia (god how I can’t wait for her to get back!) went to visit’s Asics‘ showcase a few weeks back, we mostly paid attention to the Tokidoki collabos, but there was one item from the tech line that caught my eye and that was the running dress.

A couple times while jogging around the park near my house, I’ve seen Muslim women running in knee-length skirts, complete with head scarves, but that’s not who Asics had in mind when it designed this garment. According to the rep, this “dress” was made for time-pressed women so they could work out at the gym and then run errands without having to change. This would sooooo not be for me, but I can think of some females that this would appeal to.

Don’t rest your pretty heads, ladies, Onitsuka Tiger has definitely upped its female sneaker game via a collabo with Italian artist, Tokidoki. Asics showcased all of its line in Soho today and here’s the collabo portion of it . (Shout out to Rachel for the invite and the great tour of the lifestyle line provided by John!!)
