For the American Music Awards red carpet, Nicki Minaj wore a design by Indian fashion designer Manish Arora, and when interviewed on the carpet and asked to describe what the dress would say if it could speak, she answered, “I am such a bad diva bitch!” Rap fans have been buzzing over Minaj’s recent direct-hit comments about Lil Kim, who Minaj has been reluctant to call about by name. Said Minaj in quite the rant, “I feel like, [Lil Kim is] going to go down in history now as a sore loser, as opposed to going down in history as the Queen.” Ouch!

Rihanna performed (above) last night at the American Music Awards and walked the red carpet in a lace dress by Elie Saab and shoes by Christian Louboutin. Just when we started to get a feel for her stick straight hair, she switched it up again and last night sported burgundy curls, which were color-coordinated with her nails and dresss–phew! What can be said about the fact that she’s yet to make the cover of Vogue other than once again the mag has missed the boat.
