Newly released, Amber Rose sings “Fame,” featuring Wiz Khalifa. Thoughts?

The post previous to this highlighting a book documenting the vogue scene, brought to mind a video of Amber Rose voguing at the Legend Ball in 2005. Def this female had a life before Kanye.

Spotted in Miami earlier this week, Amber rose rocks a headwrap, tank top, cut -off shorts AND a talon manicure. Needless to say we  like! Images via.

Tons of folks got into the spirit of Halloween spirit last night. Here is Beyonce as adorable as she wants to be in a bumble bee costume. On the next page Alber Elbaz, Marc Jacobs, Gwen Stefani, Russell Simmons, Heidi Klum & Seal (whose costumes are starting to freak me out–Heidi’s chimp boobs–look away!), Sasha Obama and many more.

The MTV Music Awards last night fashion-wise didn’t do much for me so I only have a few celebs here: Kreayshawn (who is currently working a nude pic scandal), Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga posing as a cast member of “Jersey Shore,” Amber Rose, Katy Perry, Skylar Grey and Adele. In Adele’s photo, check the nude, talon mani. Though for a young woman of 23 she her outfit was a tad matronly, no? Whatever, you know how some days you feel so cynical and can’t stand a thing about celebrities? In fact the opposite? Well I am having one of those days. Enjoy the glitter and don’t mind me glowering in the corner.

While we could digress on the power of money and access and the fact that there are so many talented designers who could benefit from the backing of Kanye West,we also have to acknowledge that the pursuit of one’s dream is one to respect regardless of odds, pedigree or even education. Nonetheless, after Mr West styled this shoot we were ready for catsuits and freakum dresses. Alice Cavanagh who recently got a peek at Kanye West’s clothing line says otherwise:

Two days later I visited his design studio — a surprisingly modest space in the 1st arrondissement, that looked reassuringly like an established atelier. It was a Saturday, but Christine, Louise and two other young designers (one of whom works with Givenchy, no less) were all beavering away. There were sketches out and I am happy to report that I liked what I saw — not a bodystocking jumpsuit in sight. Come October, we could all be pleasantly surprised.

Gwenyth’s photos may be sort of nude but Amber Rose’s leaked pics are another level of exposure that’s gotten her in a lot of hot water, including being let go by her agency. Seriously, would love to post the images here, but they are too porny even for my very low standards so you will have to visit MTO to get your fix (and not for nothing but  the body is FLAWLESS!).

In the meantime there’s a funny fashion side that makes a little more sense for this site. Amber is claiming on Twitter she took the images over two years ago, but the Ruthie Davis shoes she’s wearing in the naked pics and above have exposed her for her lies. According to Mrsgrapevine:

Check out these same shoes that Amber Rose wore on the red carpet last year in May of 2010 to a party hosted by Nylon Magazine. They look just like the ones she has on in the new leaked nude pics on MTO. Why go on twitter to act like a victim knowing your shoes can’t be two and half years old? We all know Kanye West money had to buy those shoes.

All I can say is, oh Amber, you might just be too much for the regular world after all.

Kanye has had his say and now Amber Rose is having hers:

“What am I supposed to do? Crawl up in a corner and die ‘cause I’m not with Kanye anymore? Am I supposed to go back to the strip club and not take these opportunities that I have?”

I must say, from everything I have ever heard about her and how she is to work with, people have nothing but nice things to say. More at Vibe.

We showed the teaser video last week and now we have images of modern-day bombshell Amber Rose from the cover of King magazine. Inside she chats about her new love, Wiz Khalifa, and how he compares to Kanye. She says,

“You know when people say how do you go from Kanye to Wiz Khalifa, that’s a downgrade. But the only question I can ask them is: have you ever dated Kanye? Because I have, and believe me, I did not downgrade at all. Not in any aspect, at all.”
