We may be Snobby but we’re not petty so I’m loathe to point out the frizziness of Gwyneth’s hair in her new Coach ads, but frankly I’m fascinated by it! This is a big campaign by an international company where money isn’t an issue so did no one notice or was all the flyaway hair in the shot on the right done on purpose…like since it’s an ad for foreign markets maybe there’s some cultural cue I don’t know about?

Spotted the latest Chanel ad artwork over at Mayzingmerique….no it’s not called “Water Works,” but gosh, that activity certainly springs easily to mind when gazing upon this image! Karl Lagerfeld shot it, but was Dov Charney a consultant by any chance??

Since a lot of you have given up your fashion mag subscriptions, I believe it is my duty to inform you that while they still suck for the most part, some of the ad images still kick ass. Case in point, these boots by Gucci:

I don’t know what it is about the Gucc, but lately I’ve been feeling that trademark red and green stripe. I mentioned a while ago that I was on the hunt for a Gucci belt featuring that stripe (think I’m gonna have to make a trip to Chinatown to fulfill that craving) and I’m waiting for delivery of a vintage suede Gucci bag with the same logo. I’ll bet you go through those inexplicable fashion longings sometimes, too, don’t you?
