I’m really excited about this collabo between Jeremy Scott and Adidas. This to me is a smart attempt of the 3 stripes Icon to  add a little pep in their step.Their ongoing collabos with Stella McCartney and Yojhi Yamamoto are both amazing .However they have somehow stopped being buzz worthy.

 Jeremy Scott  brings something  fresh to the game that possibly they tried to attain with Missy Elliot .A little "street",80’s nostalgia  and  even good dose of " bling" tackiness even…I luv it!

Upper Playground has offerings for women, they just didn’t bring ‘em to the show (hiss!). However, they did bring along some cute totes:

I’ll always have a soft spot for this brand ’cause of its Superstar 35th Anniversary design for Adidas. ‘Member? It was the one with the picnic theme and the red checkerboard design? I still have my pair and it’s one of my all-time fave pair of kicks.

Adidas kicked-off its relaunch of the Superstar yesterday. The relaunch is being done in conjunction with Facebook, where you can finds all sorts of photos and videos and all the other things that sneakerheads love.

Here’s one project that was part of the launch: Adidas created giant Superstars and had artists from Upper Playground and Surface to Air use them as a canvas/wall.

And I don’t know about you, but I’m sort of mad at Adidas right now The Superstar is an iconic style and I feel like over the past few years, Adidas has been pimping it out like a workhorse ho, with no consideration for its status as hip-hop royalty. I mean this is what, at least the 3rd time they’ve done some special, “limited” program centered around the Superstar?? Damn shame if you ask me.

The Adidas ProMama is feminine without being too girly, and hip enough to maintain your street cred.  At the end of the day, the Mama girl is always a lady! This sassy Pro Model is wrapped in a quilted heart pattern, but maintains the classic form of a performance basketball shoe.

It’s the frist ladies Adidas REMIX silhouette designed by Mama Clothing. It comes with a gold Mama lace jewel and will be released in an edition of 500 pairs in the US with only very few selected international doors. 

In addition to the ProMama, there is a collection of apparel and accessories which hook-up to the shoe. It includes New Era limited edition lace-print hat, Mama nameplate necklace (gold and silver), Heart-quilted hoodie and a Heart-quilted track suit. Via Highsnobiety.

There are some new goodies up at Adidas from Stella McCartney (who, on a major side note, gets props for seeing the trainwreck that Heather Mills was LONG before Paul married her. Next time listen to your girl, Daddy!).

Adidas should still be counting its lucky stars that Ms. McCartney collaborates with them because not only is her line–for the most part–perfect for us femmy jocks, but her stylish outlook clearly has influenced other Adidas design teams as well.
