Adidas Originals and Jeremy Scott continue to have a lot of fun working together, boldly going where no sneaker designers dare to go. Especially given that the dictate these days is more about sleak, clean and light, unlike this mid sneaker, which stuffs every loudly-colored material known to human kind on one shoe. As if this sneaker could get any more adorable, at a party in Paris yesterday highlighting Jeremy Scott’s Autumn 2011 collection for Adidas, offerings included his famous Panda sneaker….this time with a headband! On the next page, see another view of the pair, being shot like they’re major celebrities, which they sort of are! I mean, if you saw them walking down the street, would you not stop and stare?

During rehearsals for the Oscars, presenter Anne Hathaway was shown wearing a pair of Adidas  Orginals by Jeremy Scott winged sneakers and now they’re available in the form of ballet flats for those who like a more feminine profile. Adidas Originals collaborated with U.K.-based Volt magazine on a shoot featuring Spring/Summer 2011 looks from both the Jeremy Scott and Blue collections for women. The women who were chosen for the shoot while not models or celebrities, are icons in their own right and include Emily Crane, a materiologist, Imogen Chapman, a musician and fashion photographer, Chantell Walters, a womenswear designer, and Camilla Doyle, a charity event fund raiser, among others. Adidas applies its expertise in stripes to a collection that includes a cardigan, tee-shirt, tank top, dress, leggings and even a scarf. Now available at Adidasshop. More looks on the next page.

Adidas did a spring 2010 lookbook, but changed things up this time by letting the models videotape each other. Not surprisingly the girls, who include Agyness Deyn, Ana Ivanovic, Cassandra Steen, Hyori Lee, Whitney Port, Tallulah Morton, Ciara and Cheer Chen, appear to be having a very relaxed good time. It’s a cute video and some of the looks are now available on line, including the Fafi X Adidas collabo items we featured a while back. Still no sign of that Ciara “Dance Sweater,” however.

Ciara is shown here modeling the Adidas Originals ”Dance Sweater,” which is supposedly available in stores now. However, I checked the Adidas site and it is definitely not there so it might just be available in brick-and-mortar locations.
