I really believe that any balanced wardrobe needs a couple of good jackets that are statements in themselves. The London based duo of Steve J and Yoni P provide us with a draped multi collar jacket , a great example of construction and architecture in apparel, definitely a piece with that understated wow factor. Bordelle, a new brand to hit the lingerie scene, has just been added to Peacock & Strutt’s web store.  I’m a big fan of any brand that can blur the lines between lingerie and ready to wear. Bordelle does so by including leggings and corsets appropriate for the bedroom and beyond.  The collection has a bondage feel but still manages to keep a dainty, almost innocent vibe. The lines are super sharp and the color palette is minimalistic which adds to the stoic sexiness that is Bordelle.

Known for her creative costume design on some of the most infamously fashion conscious movie and TV sets (”Sex and the City” anyone?), Patricia Field landed her self the gig as the head honcho of the fashion department for the movie “Shopaholic.” To celebrate the release of the film Patricia has offered us a “Shopaholic Style” section on her web shop. The look above is by far my favorite but I have a feeling you will all go gaga for the accessories, which range from vintage heart-shaped sunglasses to neon clutches. If you have the opportunity you should head to the House of Field shop in the Bowery district of New York. The staff is super friendly and I have yet to resist walking out without dropping some serious dough.
