Pat Field’s collabo continues with Payless. This collection looks better to me than her initial offerings, which were a bit too tranny for my tastes. Not that’s there’s anything wrong with tranny, but I just don’t think brightly-colored, 70s platforms are the hot look right now.
The collection includes a clutch, some pumps and some sandals:
^^The color and materials are great, plus you get Pat Field’s name on the shoe, all for a mere 25 bucks!
"The We B*Girlz Festival is a multimedia Festival by women for women celebrating the 4 elements of Hip Hop and more. We B*Girlz wants to present a strong role model for adolescent girls. We B*Girlz Productionz wants to show that women mastered skills in all aspects of Hip Hop and have earned a place in Hip Hop history. We will celebrate their creativity with a one month festival in August 2008 in Berlin."
"Our intention is to provide a platform for girls and young women from different nations and cultural backgrounds to make contacts, exchange ideas, and support each other. We want to teach them new skills, strengthen their confidence and show them the accomplishments of women in all aspects of Hip Hop culture. Within 4 weeks in August 2008, the We B*Girlz Festival will provide the girls with tools to be creative in the different aspects of Hip Hop culture, and will also teach them how to document their own culture through workshops in video editing, photography, and web design etc. "
"During the 4 weeks in August, we will not only have lots of workshops, but also exhibitions, concerts, club nights, a filmfestival etc. We will produce a compilation with female artists, a magazine and a DVD. The event series will close with a big festival with battles, shows and a concert on the last weekend in August. We hope to see y’all in Berlin! Peace out! We B*Girl"
I started this item-of-the-day feature a couple weeks ago and managed to keep it up for a whole five days in a row (if that even!) Besides obvious issues with the limits of my attention span, I have to say that there are some days when I just don’t come across an item worthy of Snobettiest status. So now I’m just gonna do it when I see something that’s amazing. Like, for example, these killer Louboutin platforms. I mean, come on. Just look at them! I defy you to find a single thing wrong with them:

Here’s one more from the premiere. This time it’s La Diabla on the left and fashion genius Ms. Patricia Field (who I embarrassingly confused with Vivienne Westwood last week!!).
See how Anna’s image is light and Pat’s is dark? That just shows you how things aren’t always as they seem!
There were some seemingly random guests at the Sex & the City premiere. Not sure why Kid Sister was there. Maybe she has some music on the sountrack? She looks okay here. Just okay. And given that she made her name bragging about her mani, I’m a little disappointed by the paint job she’s flashing.
^^Should have let Kanye style her!

Not sure who Kid Sister is? Here’s here break out video "Pro Nails", which features Kanye: "Got my toes done up with my fingernails matching!"
Here’s the first of a couple of posts on the New York Sex & the City premiere. Lil’ Kim was there. The dress is great, love the shoes, but as you can see from the close-up, Ma’s make-up, as is often the case, is out there. Which, frankly, is mind boggling. If you ever saw the videos of Kim way back in her hanging-out, BK days, she was nothing if not adorable from head to toe. That effervescent personality still remains, but damn if fame hasn’t twisted this woman’s mirror to the point where can’t even really see herself anymore.
