I ‘m always baffled by the concept of sneaker brand  devotion,when  there are sooo many out there…The "Nikeheads" as we call them get me the most,However when you take a look at the footwear Nike  came up with for the  olympics you have to give that design and concept department a firm handshake of approval…

The Zestis above was designed for beach Volley Ball Haven’t you wondered how they play in the hot sand…The men are insanely well built by  the way, so as I was saying..I could see these In a Rei Kawabuko Runway  for sure!

As I was headed to dinner with a friend to grab a quick bite before flying out of Las Vagas last week, I was stopped in my tracks by the Guiseppe Zanotti store. I had heard about it opening a shop in Sin City but had never seen it. I was flat out DYING to go in and look around, but I knew a two-minute run through of the store would end up be more painful than pleasurable so I just stood there staring for a couple of minutes and then thankfully remembered to pull out my camera and grab a couple of shots before I left. This was the only one that came out clearly:

Alife wouldn’t let me photograph their shoes at Compass because they were all spring ‘09 (and expressed exasperation with images of spring ‘09 shoes being leaked on a certain streetwear blog when they shouldn’t have been!), but one of their p.r. reps, Cassandra, was wearing a pair of creeper/sneaker hyprids that was too adorable for words. Take a look:

Alexander Wang whose fall line(above)  has a great mix of tailored pieces with a little punk and grunge mixed in..loved it!!…. just annouced the launch of a diffusion line"T by Alexander Wang  as well as footwear!
