Jil Sander,the label no longer designed by Ms.Sanders ,has Raf Simons,as a creative director since 2005,the line continues to express Ms.Sander’s aesthetic,but just like Helmut Lang,we can only speculate where the lines would be if their creators were still involved…

Nevertheless the fall Line to me is impeccable with the coats being a true splurge worthy investement,flattering ,modern ,timeless and truly out of the ordinary…

While visiting with CreativeRec, p.r. rep Carrie wanted to know if we cover kids, and our answer was an emphatic yes ’cause I know for a fact that some of our readers have babies and like to keep them laced up. My son is past the point where I can put him in a pair of awwww-look-how-cute-those-are sneakers, but Mommies who still have little boo-boos have more options than ever.

And all I can say is that even as their circulation numbers drop through the floor, I hope they stay stupid ’cause it only means more readers for us!

Lois put me on to CCskye  designed by Courtney Crumley a while back when she featured her rings.On a closer look I was won  over by the label because of its versatility and the great sense of balance of her designs,for example a neck piece like the one above could be kind of beauty pageant/bridesmaid gaudy but the intentional asymetry make it fierce and modern…jeans ,a tank ,biker jacket and you’re fiyah…
