Images from the Dr. Martens x Liberty collaboration surfaced last week but I’m guessing there are quite a few readers who still haven’t seen them. One of my kids told me there was a Dr. Martens-related fight at his school last week involving theft of shoes leading to a beat downs. Between two girls. Now you know, shoe lunacy isn’t limited to expensive Nikes and males. (Tho lots of labels who have to deal with permanantly “borrowed” merch provided for shoots, etc. already knew that.)

Released at  21 Mercer this weekend, the Nike Lunar Flow PRM in natural  beautifully colors expresses  the blush tone shoe trend we have seen for Spring. Hence we love.  A few pairs have been spotted on Sns and ebay (!). #SMH as to why they only include men’s sizes…

Nike tells us on its MadebyNike Tumblr that these cute aqua-colored, polka-dot kicks are “coming soon.” Also, we reported a while back that as it relates to purchasing the product, the site was glitchy, and it appears from our latest visit that all has been fixed.

Dropping on April 2nd the first installement of the Nike Sportswear and Liberty of London collaboration includes covetable Nike running styles featuring  Liberty’s “Lagos Laurel” print. Nike’s Cortez, Air Max One and the Nike Free 5.0 all get the treatment of one of Liberty’s most talked about prints.

In May the collection will be extended with the addition of three basketball styles: the Blazer, Hyperclave and Dunk Sky High. The Dunk Sky High will feature a wedge heel inserted into the shoe. Images courtesy of Nike.

When I was invited to create my own Nichole de Carle knickers, my  Snobette heart leaped of joy. Launched this past February Nichole De Carle bespoke allows to  customize their signature “Last Testament” brief, bra, as well as the “Westminster” brief ,  bra  and “Opal” thong. Yours truly chose the “Last Testament” brief  which comprises of a webbing on thick elastics ( all adjustable in the back) creating a high waisted silhouette  with  peeks of skin in between.  While the first choice was to go for my signature all black everything , I chose the  nostalgic Louvre print , black accents and gold hardware. The slimmer  suspender straps can easily be worn on top of a form fitting top for a harness-y look.

 Needless to say I am smitten.  For fitting and sizing the key is to adjust each strap to create the look you want . Going up a size especially in this “Last Testament” brief might create some gaping in the rear since the cutout is deeper. If you’re inspired get yourself a pair go here. As Spotted in Teen Vogue’ April 2012 issue  by Snobette reader A Better Roni, the Nike Wedges we previewed earlier this week.  Interesting that the hidden wedge is not even mentioned as a feature of the shoe.  We’re wondering  if  the writer even noticed? Especially when the celebrity caption points to  a pair of low top Converse. #SMH. FYI the retailer listed is Nordstrom. (We love our readers!). Bigger image on the flip.
