Working with Nike, Adidas, Casio and most recently online retail giants ASOS, Luke Monaghan directed all of the video content for their women’s Autumn/Winter 2012-2913 campaign featuring Azealia Banks, Ellie Goulding and super model Charlotte Link. Each of the three videos will realease seperately during the next weeks and show the style babes in a 90-second look book film for ASOS wearing pieces from the Christmas collection that reflect their own style.

As sneaker afficianados, myself and SGP were excited to visit Puma’s New York showroom yesterday and see what it had in the works for Spring 2013. For all the celebration of sneakers these days, a lot of the focus is Nike, Nike-owned Converse, Adidas and Vans. All three companies do amazing work, but it’s awesome to see a variety of offerings, especially from an athletic shoe house as iconic and legendary as Puma (you know the story of Puma and Adidas being founded by rivaling brothers, correct?) We were delighted to see Puma has plenty to offer including its take on the now booming wedge sneaker trend (see above). The brand is all over the color trend, too, offering sorbet-inspired, color-blocked shoes in a variety of silhouettes, plus some more neutral shades for those of you who want a more grown and sexy looking shoe. Look for most of these to drop in February of next year, though some will hit before Christmas at Puma.

The idea of sneaker jewellery is one of my quiet obsessions. For the new Nike NSW Ladies Lux collection, online retailer Caliroots released a lookbook that shows super hot model Yvonne doing some gym moves wearing the new fabrics of the NSW line. The new fabric mixes include cheetah burntout patterns, Tech sweat Mc jackets, silk and lace fabrics and a leather perfed Bra-Top. Get your workout outfit directly from Caliroots.

Following the Leopard Pack for Nike’s super popular Air Max 1 and Blazer Mid silhouettes, we cannot close the chapter without presenting the Free 5.0 V4 featuring the same animal print. After first images showing a dark grey version in July, the latest pics show a gray, white and silver colorway.  The Nike Free 5.0 “Leo Pack” is available from Oneness. I for one am eager to see what is next!

Animal prints are one of the most popular trends this year. We’ve seen almost every brand using some sort of animal print and still there are new collections appearing, although 2012 is almost over. A very successful interpretation of the animal print is the Nike Blazer Mid that just released and warmed my heart. The Dark Green version of the ‘Leopard Pack’ is built from leather and suede in the perfect autumnal colors green and beige. The sneaker is now available from various Nike Sportswera shops and online via Titolo.
