In a first for Dolce & Gabbana, the Italian label designs a leopard print bicycle, featuring a woman’s frame (for easy mounting whilst wearing all those curve-loving D&G dresses, natch!), a basket, a Dolce & Gabbana branded bell and leather seat. The bicycle will be available at select boutiques in Florence, Milan and Rome. Via Shedonism.

C Wonder, a new boutique in SoHo (which may as well call itself Tory Burch’s ex’s store because that’s how everyone refers to it) is selling some very cute bicycles perfect for city riding. The one hitch is the ladies frame, which makes it very tough to hoist on your shoulder when carrying it up and down from the apartment if you don’t have an elevator.

Dressed simply as she often is off the clock model Lara Stone, accompanied by her husband, spends some time cycling, which as of late is a very fashionable activity. (We even spied some Bloomies stores this past fall, merchandised with mannequins posed next to bicycles!)

My obsession with camouflage took me to recently lay eyes on this beauty of a bicycle by none other than Trussardi. Flawless in every way this is the bicycle that sets the tone for city biking chic. The Trussardi 1911 city bike, definitely fit for a Snobette….Selectism agrees. Available for purchase here.

The Bamboo Bike Studio, located in in Brooklyn and San Francisco, are offering two-day workshops to help people build their own bamboo bicycles. The next one in Brooklyn is December 4th and 5th, and in San Francisco, November 27th and 28th. For $632 you get a bamboo frame and for $948 you get all the components you need to make it ride.

Illustrator Francis Kmiecik of Halfanese blog fame has been obsessed with women and bicycles as of late. This video called “Girl Sitting on Wall“ isn’t his newest but on his current front page, it’s definitely the neatest. In the caption he wrote, “Working on some animations with very subtle movements.” Indeed.
