The much-anticipated Iggy Azalea “Murder Bizness,” video, featuring T.I. has been released, and I must say while I have always appreciated this woman’s look and energy there have been issues in my mind with her vocalizing and how it tends to be too shouty and comes across inauthentic, but I have to admit she is starting to grow on me in all ways!

The video itself is themed around little girls and pageants and all the ugliest aspects of those circuits, touching on the reoccurring debate around working children (especially a hot button when they’re female and pretty), plus some commentary on class and the drugging of minors (which, btw, a practice found among many more parents than just pageant moms). Well shot and edited and whether it makes any statement of value or not, it’s a fun watch.

The music video for Lana Del Rey’s ‘Summertime Sadness’ is out. The singer and songwriter appears in the same blurry vintage style as in ‘National Anthem’, her last music video. Directed by film maker Kyle Newman, Lana and actress Jamie King play suicidal lesbian lovers. Watch the full video above! Spotted on Highsnob

In June Karl Lagerfeld announced his collaboration with Japanese cosmetic brand Shu Uemera, which he’s a big fan of. While he is working on the limited edition makeup line, the brand just released a video teaser to show what’s to come. The Mon Shu Girl Birth Story features an animated Karl Lagerfeld sketching of the little Mon Shu girl. Enjoy!

An artful take on Blood Orange’s single “Champagne Coast,” which speaks to themes of “longing, creating scenarios in regards to an unrequited lover, plans that will never see fruition,” according to the band’s singer and creative force, Devonté Hynes, who spoke recently about the song and the video to T magazine.

The video riffs on the popular Youtube theme of girls dancing alone in their bedrooms, using backdrops and animation that have the feeling of an extended and very rich GIF. The song is nice, too…reminiscent of 80s New Wave.

Not a lot happening here once you take in her cool costume and nail accessories. I’ve noticed her team keeps writing her songs that force her to replay bad relationship memories, which, fun times!

Rita Ora partying down in a single called “How We Do” that includes the B.I.G. riff “party & bullshit.” Not sure what this girl’s sound is yet but she sure is fun too watch (tho darn she looks so.much.like.Rihanna at times!)
