Sofia Prantera, creator of cult street-wear brand Silas and now new women’s contemporary label Aries has joined forces with well-known film director and close friend Kerri Davenport-Burton to create a unique film. The story is about living in London in the Summer, when the weather is always bad. The girls wake-up in the morning after a party and have to change their plains after opening the windows and realising it’s raining yet again.

Inspired from the Spring/Summer 2013 lookbook the video shows the dreamy, languid girl in the soft light of the day, and a lazy afternoon spent at home dressing up. Enjoy.

Great new video by Queens-born performer Awkwafina called “NYC B*tches$.” It’s an ode to and celebration of those who were born here and a torch of everyone else. Well, that’s not exactly true, she does take a certain Brooklyn-born New Yorker to task on the Barclay Center design: “Yo peep that mess Jay-Z call a stadium.” Enjoy!

ELEVEN Paris Spring/Summer 2013 Lookbook Featuring Lenny Kravitz & Charlotte Free

For the Spring/Summer 2013 campaign, the Parisian-based brand ELEVEN enlisted Lenny Kravitz and Charlotte Free to star in their lookbook. After Iggy Pop and Daisy Loewe for the Autumn/Winter campaign, ELEVEN stays true to its concept by mixing something old but somehow legendary with something fresh and young. With her neon-tinted hair and daring gaze, Charlotte has become a favorite of designers like Mara Hoffman and Jeremy Scott. And Lenny, who must be aged somewhere between 50 and 60 looks fairly good next to his much younger colleague. In the campaign photos, both Charlotte and Lenny rock washed out tones, she in a pale-blue sequined vest and he in a turquoise button down shirt and a slate grey blazer.

Nabil Elderkin who has already worked with Kanye West, Frank Ocean and Bon Iver, directed the video for Jeremy Scott’s adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2013 collection. The video features narration from the designer who explains that he wants to make a robot version of Andy Warhol and shows us by the way the collection featuring leopard prints, Mexixan dead head prints and of course wings on almost every piece. Givenchy Campaign Spring 2013

Hearing the names of the star lineup of models to be included in Givenchy’s ad campaign for spring 2013, coupled with the first ad image featuring Mariacarla Boscono, our anticipation for the full campaign was sky high. Now the entire campaign has been released, revealing a family-based theme featuring real moments in each model’s lives. Featured models are Kate Moss, Marina Abramovic, Jose Maria Manzaranes, Jared Buckhiester and Mariacarla Boscono (with her baby). Shot by famed fashion photographers Mert Alas & Marcus Biggott, as creatively directed by Riccardo Tisci, the official campaign images also include a great behind-the-scenes video below.
