While out in Vegas at the Magic trade show we of course visited longtime faborite at HS, designer Ce Ce Chin’s 80%20 booth. What you’re seeing on this page is an Autumn 2012 boot. On the next page, see additional new looks for the Autumn season, plus another look at the #straightfire open-toe loafers we showed you a while back. The show circuit continues and as we speak the brand is showing at Sole Collector in NYC–definitely 80%20 is always worth a visit!

Mesmerized by Mark McNairy’s women’s apparel line, we  also had to give you a little preview of the footwear we found to be as-usual covetable, never sacrificing the “cool” factor found in the men’s styles. See more shows on the flip as well as the daisy blazer that stopped us in our tracks.

While at Project  in Las Vegas last week, we could not help but notice the eminent presence of Disruptive Pattern Material (DPM) commonly called  camouflage. As a fan of anything camo, I can say that it’s one of those iconic urban prints that has become a modern classic interpreted by high-end fashion houses and mass merchants alike. It’s not new per se, nonetheless having spotted it  worn countless times in the span of three days as well as in a subsection of the show curated by Nick Wooster,  it is fair to say that not only is army surplus back on the rise but camo will see a bigger presence in apparel this fall.

We are giving you a little peek of Hellz Bellz’s Belle of the Brawl for this coming fall. The collection mixes draped silhouettes with lots of funky metal adornments and continues the labels foray into footwear. Peek on the flip.

While the idea of shorts attached to leggings can sound a little gimmicky to the Snobettes, done well the concept can be genius. In My Air, spotted at Project, definitely wins our approval with its shorts/leather leggings combo. See the silky version on the flip. Yes we luvs!

Highlighting collaborations with artists, Emerald Couture stood out to us as the quintessential fashion/art label. Blending original artwork and hand printing techniques each piece is itself a work of art. From the colorful bustiers and leggings to the subtle canvas jacket you will see on the flip, Emerald Couture takes art in a direction we find visually stimulating and of course very stylish. We had the opportunity to work with the amazing team at Sandbox Studios once more to present you a few of the brands we loved at Project in Las Vegas.  The Publish Brand floral cargo pants were of course one of our first picks, coupled with artist-designed top and jacket by Emerald Couture and bangles by Sweet Evie.
