Awesomely over-sized “Joplin” sunglasses, one of the latest collaborative efforts between Mykita and Bernhard Willhelm. Inspired by the singer Janis Joplin, the lenses are gradient with an orange glow in the upper half and a rosé color in the lower. Via Mykita.

When thinking of  sunglasses  for the  beach, style is important, sun protection is also a concern. Nonetheless durability is also primordial. A great option for me has beenTom’s Eyewear “Khinshasa” frames. I’d love to say that I carefully store them in a case,  but  there have been many occasions where they were tossed in a bag and guess what? They have made it through. Henry Holland and Australia’s Le Specs team up to release a special collaboration of sunglasses that are just as boisterous and fun as the designer himself! Stylish and innovative, Berline-based sunglass company Mykita has teamed up with Moncler on a mini-collection of shades. Featuring two silhouettes, ‘Lino” and “Achille” in red, black and blue, the collection will hit retail shortly with a pricetag of about $730 a piece.
