We were pleased to get a close-up view of  the Ti$a x Taz Arnold pop-up shop in the Lower East Side last night, at Community 54 and snapped a few shots of the gear and attendees. It was without a doubt a ”scene” with  long lines, lots of interesting looks, and of course sneakers galore. We even spotted a young woman in the Vashtie Jordans. More on the flip!

French street artist and illustrator Fafi publishes her first book, The Carmine Vault, whose story is centered around a character called Birtak and his desire to join the Paris Opéra Ballet. Published by Rizzoli, it’s available for pre-order now with an April 10th delivery date.

It has been colder in New York these past few days after a few weeks of almost Spring weather. While at Project, we found Ia from Tokyo whose look and nail game is perfectly appropriate for the season. Details on the flip via William Yan.

 Pitti Uomo  isnow  taking place in Milan  Florence and  thankfully Nam gives us a peak of  some wonderfully dressed men out an about during the show. This  man, a cross between Alain Delon and Stallone, kind of made us pause. It’s not about a pretty boyish face here. It’s the intensity of the stare, the double breasted  jacket, pocket square. I could go on an on… so just see more here.

There is no denying that under the leadership of Andrew Pollard, the Project tradeshow has seen a revival. Anchored on novelty and creating  the experience of a market place  the tradeshow has gone from ho-hum run of the mill to a well-curated  setting where mega brands and and independant label graciously cohabitate.

At the show ’s last Vegas installement  the Project team was even coined by an Advanstar insider as the crew of the “cool kids,” and  having seen it first hand we agree. Via Racked.

While we attended the launch of the deluxe edition of The Guitar Collection book at John Varvatos this past week we had to snap a picture of singer Cynthia Basinet rocking a pair of red tights with what we would candidly call Snobette  glamour swagger. We spotted this assistant stylist in one of our showroom visits yesterday. She was sporting a look we adore–the pairing of a designer bag, in his case Chanel, with a pair of black leather Converse kicks.
