Latest info via Racked: “Comme des Garçons BLACK, the latest pop-up concept  is due on 10th Avenue and 17th Street by the end of this month. It should arrive around the same time as a special BLACK corner in Barneys, which has an even more limited time frame of 2 weeks from its June 22 opening. Nice!!!

One of our  dream closets for a long time has been the Oak nyc assortement. Louis Terline  and Jeff Madalena gathered all of clothes and brands that we love. There is no doubt that these gentlemen have good taste, and it was only a matter of time before their in house line of basics started to challenge their contemporaries on many levels, including price. Once in a while the design team at J.crew veers off the the super preppy and and basic to create a piece that wins our admiration by design an attention to detail. The Falling Petal Jacket is one of those pieces with a timeless, chic   almost edgy look . Luv! Detailed view on the next page.

I could never get into leather vests, for the most part as they were always too boxy looking, and really made me feel too much like a wannabe rocker. The Gestuz Leather vest with the addition of cap sleeves and epaulets allows for a softer, more versatile look.  The genius of Sanne Sehested Nielsen and Lene Boesen has done it again.  Available at the incomparable oak.
