Prada showed these caps on its recent Spring 2012 runway show. We’re hoping they foreshadow some similarly cute chapeau for the ladies….like maybe visors even?

We had the chance to preview the Filson Autumn/Winter 2011 assortment last month and snapped images of their bags, which we think definitely hold their own with style and durability–a quality we believe seldom is sold to women. I don’t know about you, but spending hard earned cash on a bag that falls apart in a few months makes the Snobs really unhappy (sad face). This collection marks the labels first use of the color black for its accessories. And while the presentation apparel focused mainly on men’s styles, we can see ourseves totally stealing  the chunky knits (see at William Yan). Designer Ronnie Fieg is well-known for his men’s design collaborations, but he’s also dabbled a bit with women’s. We love this collaboration with Sebago, which Fieg was inspired to do thanks to repeated requests from his Mom and sister. We think the world of Fieg anyway, but we also appreciate that someone is putting some sweat into creating quality, casual brown shoe designs for women. Designed by Raul Lopez, we’ve christened these the “Back Strap” trousers, which are of course a steal-from-the boys situation as the line is targeted to men. Since shorts shorts are so common, this is so much more of  unique look. Formally of Hood by Air, Lopez created these for his new label Luarz Zepol. More images on the next page via Vashtie.
