During our last visit of Project in Las Vegas as members of the Blogger Project we had the opportunity to style a few looks with some brands that caught our eye. First up is a look featuring a stunning neoprene sweater ( a collaboration with Brianna Capozzi) and a  bottle opener gold chain by Guns Germs Steal, some sick leather pants by G-Star and  Nike Dunk Sky Highs. Initially launched as a men’s line, Gus Germs Steal designers Philippa Price and Smiley Stevens quickly discovered the girls kept copping the line for themselves (including the ultimate nod–Rihanna). Thus, the latest lookbook is unisex, featuring the a man and woman on each page, each in the same look but somehow looking completely different. That’s Price above left and Stevens to the right. The jacket’s sleeves zip off!

Hood by Air presented their trademark futuristic take on menswear (that we consider unisex) earlier today with athletic separates and outerwear that had me fiending. Enjoy!

As lover of menswear, I have been looking at the men’s shows this week and have found quite a few collections worthy of mention. Astrid Andersen for Fall 2013 take her signature stab at menswear with athletic references, I find simply irresistible. It’s the kind of clothes I would gladly steal from the boo’s closet. Roomy logo’d sweatshirts with track pants and  some of the coolest jackets I  have seen in a while. One the next page take a look at Astrid Andersen via Fashionising.

A designer after my own heart, Umit Benan’s designs have ranked high on my list for quite sometime. His latest look book for Spring 2013 features a woman rocking menswear  with an effortlessly cool vibe, proving that  great styling and good pieces is all you need to create  stunning individual style. We had to highlight this men’s tank from the upcoming Rolland Berry Spring 2013 collection as an item we’d gladly steal from the boys.

With its “I’ll be your mirror” lookbook, Japanese brand Bedwin & The Heartbreakers, mostly known for it’s very detail-orientated and high-quality garments, has proven that it not only knows how to play with classic American menswear, but also that its womenswear offerings are worth paying heed to. It’s great how the label combines different elements to create fresh looks, all very modern but not overly sleek. I really fell in love with the varsity jacket, combined with a simple blue shirt and classic black trousers.

Comme des Garçons collaborated with Fleet Ilya on a capsule collection of headwear  for their men’s Spring 2013 runway. Sculpted leather and spikes meet to create a very badass  Snobette worthy tiara. Launching for Spring 2013 at all Comme des garçons boutiques, see a close up on the flip.

Jordan Brand dips their toes into what could be an amazing campaign for women with their first women’s #RiseAbove video featuring an Iraqui woman’s love of basketball. Highlighting the universality of what it is to love sports, and to follow your dreams .We give the concept a thumbs up and hope that this will be the beginning of not only great inspiring messages but an availability of footwear and apparel sized for women who have been rocking men’s Jordan sneakers ang gear for years.Enjoy!
