Nike Running #MakeItCount Campaign – Recap

With a New Year’s resolution to be more active, the Highsnobiety and Highsnobette teams joined Nike’s global running movement to #MakeItCount. Highly motivated and equipped with the latest running gear from Nike, our teams met regularly for morning runs in the park and continued our resolution in Milan, Pitti Uomo, and Paris Fashion Week. With freezing cold temperatures in Berlin and a constant darkness outside, it was not always easy to find the motivation to stick with our goals. Fortunately, having teammates kept our spirits up when temperatures were low and our goal of running 12.5km a week was successfully met.

After four weeks, a few people from the team are happy that it’s over, but most of us – and that’s what counts – find ourselves living a more active and confident lifestyle that we plan to continue well into the new year.

Over the course of the last month, both Highsnobiety and Highsnobette followers on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter kept up to date on the progress of our runs. For our final run we decided to do something a little bit more special. Watch the interactive video and check out our recap on the next page.

Video: NBA ‘Big Color’ Promo: Howard, Anthony, Westbrook Etc.

Hi everyone, Happy Thanksgiving to all our readers in the states! Among many things we are VERY sincerely thankful for you and your support of HS over the years. Really. Thank you.

Later I’m going to attend dinner at the home of two of my dearest friends, and I do believe myself and his son averted disaster for him last night when we talked him out of serving up a spread that excluded mashed potatoes…. #OMG. Can you imagine??

In any case, the reason I saw this friend last night is because we attended a ballgame at Madison Square Garden (MSG for the natives) to see his alma mater play, and thus my logic for posting this adorable NBA holiday video promoting special edition one-color jerseys that will be worn during the X-mas day games. Not to mention basketball players are hunky & cute! From left to right in the video above: Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, Joe Johnson, Russell Westbrook and Dwayne Wade. Supposedly their dribbling out the notes of a holiday song but I can’t figure out what it is. When you watch check out Dwayne Wade on the far right who looks scared to death he’s going to screw the whole thing up.
