"John Maedea’s newest design, the Struccess, comes from the Law #9: Failure.  Maeda says, “if you fail, keep trying – struggle to reach some form of success.”

Using three of Reebok’s state-of-the-art technologies, the InstaPump Fury is Professor Maeda’s canvas, and his handwritten code that decorates the shoe’s lining creates puddles of graphics all over the shoe.  With so many parts – from the pump to the carpet fiber to the Hexalite – it’s a whole different animal. 

Only 300 pairs of these electrifying sneakers will be available as of July 2nd for $200 but only a portion will be available on Reebok’s website here in the US"

Puma has partnered with jewelry  Label  Hancholo to bling out those high tops…I love anything metallic I just wish the crack detail was not so pronounced….The satin with script letters gives it a litlle boxing-ring feel  that I like…..I go deep into stuff right…

Coach is getting in on the high end sneaker game…I don’t know if it’s the fact that I have been bombarded visually by LV’s or interlocking C’s but their monogram seems to not do as well for me….The Keds-like Audrina with the stripes is not bad at all…

The Nannette like  the color and the contrasting textures would have loved their basic logo on it  with a contrasting color…

The Norra….uhhh I’ll pass on the pink but the navy is not bad…

I know I’m always hyping the hightops, but the truth is I wear plenty of lows. We women need variety after all! And what better choice for a pair of low kicks than these Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 styles, which are reissues from the 1968 Mexico City Games. As soon As I saw this freestyle I was taken,Idunno if it was affinity for camo or adorned footwear, I just tought they were Hottt, Lately tough alot of brands seem, to be taking the freedom to bite off this style after Flo Rida"s Lyric:"Reebok with  da straps" They might have realised the street cred  and the nostalgia associated with the freestyle nevertheless , Reebok has nothing to worry about because in people’s minds the Freestyle just like the Pumps will always be their Icons…u know…

Converse is celebrating its 100th year anniversary and natch, they’ve hooked up with some indie-cool artists as a way to promote the event. If you visit the site, you can download "My Drive Thru," a song that went live yesterday and includes contributions from N.E.R.D., Santogold and The Strokes Julian Casablancas. A video and behind-the-scenes imagery isn’t on the site yet, but will be soon.

If you don’t want to download the song, someone already uploaded the music up to YouTube. It’s aiiight, in my opinion. The beat is great, but by the middle it sounds like way to many cooks were meddling in the kitchen.
