For Spring 2013, SUPRA drops a selection of iconic silhouettes in a collection of footwear specifically designed for women. Vibrant color ways and luxurious materials make the sneakers look striking sexy while keeping a feminine touch. The accompanying look book gives you some inspiration how to wear them best. Marimekko and Converse teams up  with Chuck Taylor’s on a collection of  sneakers  for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2013 season. The collection features Marimekko prints by Maija Isola and Maija Louekari available in Chuck Taylor All Star and a brand-new silhouette, Chuck Taylor All Star Platform.

The new Converse x Marimekko collection will be available from March 2013 at selected Marimekko stores, premium retail outlets and online at www.converse.com.

Using the Chuck Taylor as a canvass of sorts, Fashion East designers Claire Barrow, Ryan Lo and Ashley Williams were invited by Converse to create and customize the iconic silhouette for the label’s Autumn/Winter 2013 collections. Metal toe caps and paint finishing for Claire Barrow’s design, ribbon laces and pastel colors for Ryan Lo and Ashley Williams who took her inspiration from Elvis Presley showed black Chucks with punchy slogans, all presented at Fashion East’s Autumn/Winter 2013-14 show at Tate Modern on Monday. In a switch from customized looks shown on runways, all the featured styles are already available from Converse.

Vans retro-feeling Van Doren series for Spring 2013, features two styles of Classic silhouettes in colors and prints that recall the brand’s early ’90s look. To seal the retro deal, the shoes features the original Van Doren heeltab branding. All are now available for purchase from selected Vans retailers.

Nike continues to slay our hearts with new versions of the Sky High Dunk–the latest is a style called “Year Of The Snake,” available at RMK. See more angles on the next page. #Want

Nike is really starting to have some fun with its Sky High Dunk series, the “New York” style above features a hidden wedge with premium materials, like faux pony hair overlays, plus a patent Swoosh and waxed cotton laces. Take a closer look and you can see “New York” is printed on the tongue. These kicks are available now for $225 at Kith Manhattan (or phone order: 646-648-6285). Hot, hot, hot!

The third release of the Nike Roshe Run geometric series is definitely my favorite! Featured with a popping yellow sole and a deep royal blue upper, it’s the teeny-tiny triangle detailing that make this sneaker so adorable.

Since the launch of Flyknit last year, Nike continues to update and advance the Flyknit technology. Highsnobiety just presented the Flyknit Chukka version and we share first images of the Flyknit Lunar+1 that combines the sole unit from the LunarGlide+4 (currently used by Highsnobette for Nike’s #makeitcount campaign) and the dynamic Flywire to create one of the most stunning performance silhouettes on the market.

The Nike Flyknit+1 will be available on February 1  in serveral colors from your local Nike supplier.
