Beach Couture ,based in Spain,Takes the concept of beachwear  and  gives it  an urban/edgy aesthetic, that I have a great appreciation for. I would be lying to you if I said that I love Department stores..although lately….Saks has been really taking risks at least in their womens footwear department..is it the Hot footwear floor they opened a few years back ?or a new Buyer?

I don’t know but when I saw these YSL platforms available for pre-order  I was pleasantly surprised..

When lois rocked a pair of sandals from Irregular Choice  a couple of weeks ago I realize that I had not looked at this label for a while..

Visiting the store yesterday I was pleasantly surprised at the choices available,although their concept and presentation veers towards quirky and super creative(they partner with Heatherette sometimes) I find that they are more avant-garde and modern in their use of shape and color..

 the overall quirkiness can sometimes turn a more sleek consumer off…while the styles ,if they were by so and so designer would habe been on every mainstream fashionistas must have list…ahhh…The power of name…

I think they rock!

The sleekest option to a sneaker I Have seen in a long time the Ferro Rete and it has no pink in it…Definitely got me..

Yesterday on my way home the straps of my favorite ankle tie sandals broke off..after 3years of pounding the summer pavement ,my made in India treasure gave way… Looking at these Bahia elastic sock sandals ,by Cocobelle I could imagine how walking in  sandals would be even more pleasant…although in NYC i’m starting to reconsider..there seems to be an overwhelmimg amount of broken glass on sidewalks lately….

Love the modernity and the sleekness of these it shows style without screaming it..
