Jimmy Choo teamed up with contemporary artist Rob Pruitt on a capsule collection featuring Pritt-typical prints and patterns full of humour and visual flush. From Andy Warhol to glittering pandas to neon animal prints the collection covers all styles that we know from the 80’s. Leandra Medine aka The Man Repeller has teamed up with Del Toro on a limited edition of the Prince Albert slipper. It is the second collaboration between the shoe brand and Medine who  continues to use humour as a theme for the loafers. While the first shoe featured flamingos Medine’s affectionate term for her followers), the current loafers feature a male and a female animated face on light denim. Lovely!

Erin Wasson the new face of Rockport was on hand at an event in Manhattan yesterday, to talk about her partnership with the brand. As part of the same event, guests got  hair and make-up from Blow Salon . We had a chance to chat with Erin who shared with us her love of architecture, individual style, comfort and  the timeless feeling of holding a good book in your hand. Christian Louboutin has recruited photographer Peter Lippmann to shoot this magical campaign for the brand’s lookbook for Autumn 2012. The latest creations of the much-loved shoe designer were scaled to larger-than-life proportions and are featured alongside historical Parisian settings such as the Notre Dame, the Place de la Concorde and the Pont Des Arts.
