Camilla Skovegaard,  and her very fun serrated paltform  is sadly getting knocked -off . However when your creativity is broad you’re always able to come out on top with something else that will have the copiers wishing. Case in point, tassel heels ! Who would have thought? via net-a-porter.

INSA featured this Estelle video on his site recently because it features his shoes (at .16 and .23), but forget all that, who is the light-skinned cutie she falls in love with?? Wow. Borderline too cute. And there’s Nas, too, who seems to be 100 percent over his divorce and is as thuggy handsome as ever.

There was some teeter-tottering on my part as to whether or not to feature these shoes designed by Anastasia Radevich, as I’m taking a little vacation from overly sculpted and conceptual shoe looks, but there was something so bittersweetly appealing about the upper, especially the blue light against the black boot, that I couldn’t resist. Sweetly seductive is the jingling of a woman’s accessories, capturing her every move, however quiet. Staring at this image, one can almost hear the sounds they make in motion. Mentioned as a hot fall item on Elle back in March,  Tommy Ton recently captured them out and about. They’re designed by New York-base shoe designer Tania Spinelli for womenswear designer Jen Kao.

Nickolas Kirkwood is in Hong Kong this week, launching a space within On Peddar At Joyce, a popular accessories store. While there he gave a sneak peek of  a collection inspired by deceased grafitti artist Keith Haring. The collection includes 12 styles, including Kirkwood’s first pair of flats and they will launch at retail in February 2011. Via Style.

This is not Booji’s first appearance on this site, but judging from advance images from the Spring line, it looks like the brand has evolved quite a bit since we saw it about this time last year. Designer Miss MDot got her start as a member of the JB Classics family and that brand’s forward design sensibility clearly influences her product, with the added twist that Miss MDot’s product all feature animal friendly ecologocially-friendly materials. One of our all-time most popular Vans posts was the one featuring the “Sophie,” shown here. Since then, “Vans saddle shoes” are key words that have led lots of people to our site. This morning while doing some shoe shopping I noted they were newly arrived at Solestruck. So have at ‘em, ladies!

Clearly the animal print bandwagon is one  we are drawn  to and frankly not resisting at all . We thought the shape and the contrasted prints in these low boots by Sigerson Morrison  were interesting. Available at browns.

Just in time for the footwear transition, Nicole Brundage launches a special edition collection entitled “Wood,” under her Acrobats of God  label. Super  light weight, modern with healthy dose of sexy. Does not hurt that the look book is shot very very well.  A closer look at the other styles on the flip.

Vivienne Westwood recently opened an exhibit of her shoe designs from over the years at Selfridges Ultra Lounge in London. The pair featured here are the infamous ones Naomi was wearing when she stumbled in them during a Viv Westwood runway show in 1993–back when falling down on a runway actually meant something!
