Lady Gaga as of late has been having a lot of fun showing off her stiletto-shaped nails, featuring lots of flashy art. For her latest single, “Judas,” her creative side kick, Nicola Formichetti, featured images pulled from the video on his site, crediting all the labels and stylists. Her chain-drenched nails shown above are by nail artist Aya Fukuda, who recently conducted an interview with Bellasugar on her work with Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga presents “Gagavision” No. 43, discussing the creative process behind her recent singles “Judas” and “Born This Way.” She also does a lot of flashing of her ruby red, talon manicure, which, if somehow she gets credited for being the one who “discovered” this shape, we’re going to be fighting. Gaga may be its biggest celebrity launchpad, but the talon shape has been around for more than a minute before she started sporting it.

Here are Chanel’s nail polish shades for Summer 2011. They’re part of a summer makeup collection called, “Les Fleurs d’Ete de Chanel.” The “Mimosa” yellow has received tons of press already. The other shades are cute, but hardly groundbreaking. To see the makeup in the collection visit Temptalia.

Prada is having quite the lasting moment, with its recent collections receiving enviable amounts of editorial coverage and showing up on multiple covers. U.K.-based WAH nails, ever in step with the latest, pays its tribute with this perfectly executed banana manicure, featuring the print shown in the Spring 2011 collection. Well done, ladies!

“Twerk” by Georgia-born, Lady, aka Shameka Brown has been out as a single for about six months and now a video (which, flat out, will get you fired if you watch it at a corp job) has been released. We spotted it on WAH nails, which was pointing out the artist’s excellent nail game. This video is going to cause a lot of different reactions. Besides all the “twerking,” some are going to be mad about her over-the-top pony tail, but hey, if the same looks shows up on a runway six months from now it will be applauded as statement-making so it’s all a matter of perspective. The interesting part to me is how this video clearly features strip club dances moves but there are no men. Also, Lady herself doesn’t  twerk…..but hey, why should she? Afer all, she’s the boss.

Urban Outfitters brought together singer Rye Rye and Pop Beauty for a nail polish pack, featuring three perfect colors for Spring 2011. This polish is special because it’s “nylon-infused,” and therefore doesn’t chip (believe that when I see it!).
