Erin Wasson does a big solid for Australian label One Teaspoon, by modeling for a a lookbook, entitled “Love Cats.” There are a couple of items that are just fab–like the leather and jersey dress above, but mostly we’re crushing on the gorgeousness that is Ms. Wasson. I’ve said it before, they’re not in the same class fame and money wise, but still, Wasson is our version of the U.K.’s Kate Moss. Purchase One Teaspon items here.

By the time she was 18, Lindsey Wixson’s striking face had already fronted campaigns for a large numbers of  high fashion brands.  In an editorial for Vogue UK she looks more radiant and natural than ever.  Shot by Terry Richardson, the New York-inspired spread shows some of the upcoming trends for Autumn: houndstooth, lumberjack plaids and tweed, styled with a country manor feel. Love her eye-catching big smile, which managed to boost my less-than-thrilled Monday mood. Definitely wanted to share this with you!

Lara Stone with boobs seemingly bigger and better than ever for Vogue Korea’s August 2012, 16th anniversary issue.

In November, Rizzoli will publish a coffee-table book chronicling Kate Moss’s 20-year modeling career. Kate: The Kate Moss Book, was edited by Jefferson Hack, the father of Moss’s daughter Lila, and legendary casting director and editor-in-chief of Dazed and Another magazine, Jess Hallett. The book will illustrate Kate’s career from little girl to supermodel with photos taken by Juergen Teller, Hedi Slimane, Terry Richardson and Mario Testino just to name a few. The book is expected to be in stores on November 6 and can be pre-ordered from Amazon. Via Selectism

Vanity Fair Italy has its mitts on preview pics for the Pirelli Calendar 2013, as shot by Steve McCurry. In a move that is sure to reduce interest in the calendar to those obsessesd with super models and fashion photography, in other words a sliver of the population, thus far it appears McCurry is photographing his subjects with ALL their clothes on. Seriously though, I sort of get it, in truth as fun as it is for the lads, this totally nude supermodel thing has become a bit long in the tooth. So me personally, I hope their dresses stay on.

George Michael releases his latest video single with an apperance by the top model Kate Moss. Can’t say I love the song yet but the cinematography is flawless. Enjoy!

Model Rianne Ten Haken as shot by Herb Ritts for Vogue Netherlands July 2012 issue, a literally refreshing take on the typical summer beachside shot.

As part of a series of “Confessional” videos, produced by Alexander Wang, super model Shalom Harlow discusses her hippie upbringing, the changes in runway modeling since the ’90s and her return to modeling for Wang’s Autumn 2012 show. Says Harlow, on life as an attractive woman:

“Generally speaking I think there’s a lot projected on beautiful women period. At least–maybe this is just my fear–but I do sometimes feel like dismissed before I’ve even been allowed to participate.”

In my mind the image chosen for the cover should showcase the magazine’s best photo that month. And while lately I tend to favor the work being done by the Russians, Vogue Germany is another book that tends to have great, visually stunning covers. For June, American girl Carolyn Murphy is featured on the cover werking a tangerine swimsuit with milkmaid braids shaped  into rings big enough for chihuahuas to jump through. And do you see that cute lil’ tattoo on her upper thigh? What is that, a tiger?

Russian girl Natalia poses for the hometown Vogue. The results are interesting. Normally this book goes for over-the-top style, but for homeslice they went laid back and natural.
