Replacing Kate Moss, Miranda Kerr has taken on the role of the face of Mango, starting with the retailer’s Spring 2013 campaign. We have a first image showing the model in front of the lens of Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Of course you will get the advertisement images here first.
We already covered some impressions of this years Victoria’s Secret fashion show, but the full spectacle will be broadcasted not till December 4 on local TV channels in 175 countries around the world. Not that many -but still quite a high- is the number of different nations represented on the runway. Altogether the models came from 5 continents and 16 countries which is now underlined in a video to promote the broadcast. For the i-D Winter’s “Wise Up” Issue, Lara Stone was shot by Daniele & Iango for a black and white spread showing the model, who is now pregnant, almost naked. The focus of the images lies on the complex make-up and styling by Stephane Marais and Charlotte Stockdale.
Juicy Couture just launched a short film titled ‘California Dreaming’ to promote its holiday collection. Starring Candice Swanepoel and directed by Terry Richardson (also co-starring) at the setting of Chateau Marmont, the top model presents pieces from the actual collection packed in a L.A. typical ‘Girls-just-wanna-have-fun’ story.
As part of the brands new digital and social media strategy, the film includes links of the apparel and accesories of Juicy Couture, so that they can directly be shopped while watching it. With the hashtag #givemewhatiwant Juicy adopts this new media strategy to engage its customers in a two way dialogue.
