One of our faves, up-from-the-streets-Russian-girl Natalia Vodianova adds super levels of sexiness to Stuart Weitzman’s ad campaign for the Spring 2012 collection. Shot by Mario Testino. A couple more images on the next page.
U.K. model and socialite Poppy Delevigne has been revealed as the main attraction in Louis Vuitton’s ad campaign showcasing Summer 2012 product. (Though the main reason this is being posted is the visor–want!)
In its Spring 2012 poster campaign, Supreme hints at an upcoming collabo with Kate Moss. This won’t be her first time working with the brand that’s as iconic as she is, and based on previous demand you can bet any tee with her name attached to it will be coveted to the extreme and next to impossible to own. p.s. Just back on red eye from Las Vegas, will be attending a couple of shows today while SGP continues to document Project.
V Magazine offers up its oh-so-pretty version of a calendar for 2012, featuring the industry’s top girls, as styled by Carine Roitfeld and photographed by Willy Vanderpere. That’s Chanel Iman as Miss November, see the rest of the months on the next page. Via Fashionising.
Watch as Giselle gets heckled by Giants fans in the video above as she leaves the stadium after yesterday’s Superbowl. In the video you can hear her say, “My husband cannot fucking throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time,” referring to her husband Tom Brady’s passes dropped by New England Patriots receivers.
First impression–even just being a regular person she stands out as really tall and oh-so-striking with her long, sexy hair. Second: I love her unfilteredness (see prior quotes on breastfeeding and sunscreen) in general and here it’s expressed in the form of loyalty–a trait that wins her bonus points with me. Third: But she shouldn’t blame Tommy’s teammates, that may be okay in the me-me-me world of supermodels but in sports it is often said there is no “I” in team. And finally, I feel for her having to deal with sports fans and their often extra-mean-for-the-fun-of-it, anti-female, fashion and foreigner mentality. Check any of the comments sections for this story elsewhere and they are awful. I always think the fashion industry is cold-hearted, but it’s a fluff ball compared to sports.
Humberto Leon and Carole Lim’s Kenzo Spring 2012 collection has definitely brought new life to the iconic label. Not that Kenzo was dated or irrelevant but on many levels unless you were part of the fashion geeks who lived for Style with Elsa Klensch, your memories of Kenzo would mainly be of its perfumes. Featuring Ajak Deng, Alek Wek and Nairoby Matos the latest ad nods to the the labels 80s success with a modern millenium chic twist. The kind of ad we would not mind having on the wall as art..
