Wonderland magazines puts controversial new pop-star Lana Del Ray on its November/December cover. Shot by AJ Numan, she’s wearing jewels by Prada. Not yet aware of Del Ray much less the controversy? It boils down to her lips being fake or not (I’m gonna go to hell for writing this but I actually think they are paid for), which is shallow, yes, but more reflects on the “Manchurian” nature of her rise to fame. The illustrious Janet Jackson graces the cover of this month’s Harper’s Bazaar in Saudi Arabia rocking a stunning green dress. More pics on the flip via Theybf.

The ever delectable Scarlett Johansson is featured on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine. In the feature she speaks on the nude shots of her that were leaked to the world:

“I know my best angles. They were sent to my [ex-]husband [Ryan Reynolds], There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not like I was shooting a porno. Although there’s nothing wrong with that either.”

Italian Vogue warms the hearts of New York fashionistas with a Steven Meisel shot spread titled “The A Train,” shouting out the city’s ’80s and 90s decadence glory days gone by (not so fun for everyday people not hitting the club scene but that’s another story). And though it references the mighty A train, it looks like large parts of it were shot in MTA’s Transit Museum, which features retired retro trains, complete with old-timey subway ads.

We’re strictly in the big-fat-rumor stage but chat on the street is that a Dutch version of Vogue is in the making. Karin Swerink (her Twitter image above), who is currently the editor for Dutch Glamour, is being mentioned as the likely editor. Fueling the speculation are already-announced plans for Swerink to leave her post at Glamour (to be filled by Sabine Geurtson) on November 1st. And while this news is not part of the “official” gossip, given her Dutch heritage and superstar status, one would be hard pressed to guess someone other than Lara Stone landing the cover.

Send us to the principal’s office for we are late on this–as of noon today just about every website in the world had posted these images of Beyonce on the cover of Bazaar. I think it’s because she talks a bunch about her pregnancy and her husband in the article. On that note, been hearing people chat that Beyonce is somehow faking this pregnancy based on one possibly doctored image, which flat out strikes me as nutzo. Sorry I have luv for the conspriracy people in general but nope, on this one I just can’t.
