As Italy’s first denim label, Roy Roger’s evolved to a pretty well-known lifestyle brand since its creation in 1949 and holds appeal far beyond the borders of its home country. With their Fall/Winter collection for 2012, Roy Roger’s stays true to the heritage of its jeans and comes up with authentic denim edited down to a selection of well selected pieces made of premium materials. Unique colorways such as chlorophyll green, curry ochre, and blueberry blue – made by natural pigments obtained from fruits and spices – are featured in the wide range of westen-inspired shirts, trousers, jackets and coats. Band Of Outsiders is a brand that delivers constantly amazing and very wearable collections. I can’t remember a collection that was on featured on Snobette. For its Autumn 2012 campaign actress Amy Adams stars in the nostalgic spread in the beautuful setting of The Auttry Museum in California.

Karl Lagerfeld created with its RTW collection for Chanel Spring/Summer 2013 a line that again represents the brand more than 100%. Mixing modern aspects like the use of pastel colors and new shapes, there is always that little something that reminds of the classic Coco Chanel in black and white wearing tweed and pearls. Model Stef van der Laan stars the Spring 2013 press kit images and is the perfect incarnation of the modern Coco Chanel.

Negative headlines and Twitter fights dominated the fashion media after Hedi Slimanes debut show for Saint Laurent last week. Anyhow and and far beyond all these tumult, the designer and photographer now dropped the lookbook for his new line Saint Laurent Skinny. The lookbook was photographed by Hedi himself and features mainly basic items like silk tee’s and denim pants presented in a grunge-punk look.

What I just realized by finishing the post is that the model is male not female and so is the collection bound to men not women! I’d like to share it the lookbook with you anyway and get your opinion on it. (AND, as we all love to grub in our boyfriends wardrobe, some of the items may definitely also look good -if not even better- on us).

Always a favorite around HS headquarters, designer Erin Magee for MadeMe offers a collection for Spring 2013 that has its usual wry take on life as a girl in the so-called modern world–some parts innocent, a bit charming, as well cunning and of course hardly a pushover. Shop MadeMe online here.

For the new Nike NSW Ladies Lux collection, online retailer Caliroots released a lookbook that shows super hot model Yvonne doing some gym moves wearing the new fabrics of the NSW line. The new fabric mixes include cheetah burntout patterns, Tech sweat Mc jackets, silk and lace fabrics and a leather perfed Bra-Top. Get your workout outfit directly from Caliroots.

Check April 77’s lookbook for Autumn 2012, paying homage to the traditional colors and patterns creted by the indigenous populations of the Southwest. With the “Gypsy Mountains” collection, the French brand offering’s are highlighted by denim, woolen scarves and a gorgeous Aztec patterned coat that  fell in love with. During New York Fashion Week J.Crew shows a collection for spring themed around backdrops of white splashed with colorful prints. Not as strong as last Spring’s offerings in my humble opinion.
