While the idea of being in the presence of a real life snake can be quite daunting if not frightful for many the use of snakes in jewellery always has been quite prevalent.  Viewed in some cultures as a symbol of rebirth or fertility snakes are  also seen in parts of Africa as a symbol of inner strength, energy, and spiritual power.

Hell, she looks stunning! Georgia May Jagger is the face of Vivienne Westwood’s Gainsborough palladium jewelry collection. The collection is inspired by Viviennes ‘Paper’ jewelry line that was introduced in her 2000 Gold Label collection. While I can’t quite figure out why this ring is called a gold digger, I have to admin that it’s a showstopper.  The stylist inside tough wants to highlight the fact that it would have been nice for the mannequin to have simple  manicured nails, a sheer pink would have rocked.  The ring is now available at net-a-porter, see it in detail on the flip.

Lanvin just dropped the lookbook for the jewellry collection ‘Pandora’ which is inspired by antique versions of animal heads. The collection is part of Alber Elbaz 10 year anniversary at Lanvin and features tiger heads in form of cuffs, chockers and belts; each of them graced with a huge jaw in either yellow, green or blue. We love it!

Earlier today, we posted a sneak peek(!!) of Persian mastermind & designer Melody Ehsani’s collaboration with Jeremy Scott. The post had me mulling Ehsani’s “Queen of the Jungle” necklace and how many times in the past few months I’ve spotted it as worn by some of the world’s most famously fashionable.
