John Varvatos Ad ( 2007 ) featuring The Velvet Revolver

In my admiration of men’s fashion one of my biggest fashion crushes has been John Varvatos. Launched in 2000 the John Varvatos label  exemplifies a sexy grown- up,  rock and roll cool that is irresistible as illustrated by their campaigns that feature rock legends, like Iggy Pop, Joe Perry and more. When I saw the ad of Slash wearing a suit   a while back I nearly died. True story. When it comes to denim as far as we’re concerned, you cannot get more’ legit’ and authentic than Levis. Lots of denim brands come and go with editors , stylists  pegging them as the hottest thing  and some of them do indeed have us fiending, but in essence the pioneers will always remain. Joline Jolink launched her successful webshop in 2008, which made her one of the first Dutch designers to sell online.
