As we mentioned, we were in attendance at the 5th anniversary party for 80%20 shoes last night. The event featured a walk down memory lane with a display showing many of the brand’s past designs over the years. The best part though was seeing the many, many people in attendance wearing designer Ce Ce Chin’s shoes! A lot of times at these events you don’t necessarily see tons of the featured brand being worn by the people in attendance, but there is clearly a very loyal following for this brand, part of whose genius over the years has been to offer forward fashion at an affordable price. For that, the downtown girls will probably always love and appreciate Ms. Chin.

But you know what as much as I cannot stand the cliché and stereotypes of the cookie cutter wedding, I still believe in a love story and the commitment two people make to love cherish each other etc etc . Looking through the Pierre Hardy  Spring 2010 women’s footwear I could not help but think of festivities, and fun times in the sun. The assortment features a wide variety of heel silhouettes with geometric details ,the use of PVC and over sized paillettes ( above) that remind me  of why Pierre Hardy is one of my  faves. Samia and handed over to Manhattan’s Pierre hotel yesterday to enjoy high tea (yes, high tea, trust, for this Jersey girl it was a total hoot and a half) with all our M.O.B. crew favorites in celebration of Married to the Mob’s collaboration with Lacoste. The shoes are amazing, unique and the lace theme couldn’t be more on point. Priced at $120, look for them to go on sale February 13th. I’m behind on getting these up, but after this post I’m going to do another one dedicated to the people in attendance (Leah looked smoking hot–wait ’til you see!)
